Bodegas José L. Ferrer:
Located in the heart of Binissalem, this winery is known for its traditional Mallorcan wines made from the local grape varieties Manto Negro, Callet, and Fogoneu. The winery offers tastings and tours, as well as a chance to purchase their wines.
History:In 1931, at the young age of 28, José Luis Ferrer Ramonell, after studying technology in France, established the winery under the name "Wine from Binissalem." Later, it would take on its current name, Bodegas José L. Ferrer and Red Stripe, the flagship of the brand, which is now synonymous with quality and prestige.
José L. Ferrer was a trailblazer on the island of Mallorca, introducing new techniques in vine cultivation, bottling wine for later sale, aging wines in oak barrels to improve quality, creating great whites based on indigenous varieties and exporting Mallorcan wines to Europe and the USA.
Today, the winery is still family-owned, led by the 3rd and 4th generation of the Ferrer family, who have never settled for their inherited history and experience and have always sought to enhance their heritage. From José Luis Ferrer Ramonell to his grandchildren, Sebastian and Jose Luis Roses, and even his great-grandson Pepe Roses, all members of the family have pushed beyond their limits to discover and implement new winemaking ideas and techniques from around the world.
Since its inception, the winery has not lost its authenticity and typicality in its offerings but has managed to greatly improve the final product. With advanced facilities that combine the best of modern and traditional techniques and a passion for wine that is almost genetically passed down from generation to generation, the winery has earned recognition both locally and internationally.Bodegas José L. Ferrer represents centuries of tradition, the passion and effort of one family, and the essence of Mallorcan culture - light and magic, landscape and peasantry, culture and spirit, soul and earth, and the courage to make grape wine. Each bottle from their cellar is a reflection of this.

Bodegas Castell Miquel:
This winery is located in the town of Sencelles and is known for its wines made from the local grape varieties Manto Negro, Callet, and Fogoneu. The winery offers tastings and tours, as well as a chance to purchase their wines. The unique blend of pleasure and health: Castell Miquel, under the direction of Professor Dr. Michael Popp, has made this vision a reality.
The vineyard owner and entrepreneur of the year 2008 is a world-renowned pharmacist. As the owner of Bionorica SE, a company that has won numerous awards for its innovative power and is present in 50 countries worldwide. In Germany, Bionorica is the market leader in herbal medicine by sales (such as Sinupret® herbal medicine). At his Castell Miquel Bodega in Mallorca, winemaker Thomas Popp and Wambsganss pursue a clear vision: Castell Miquel produces wines of the highest quality, with a focus on taste and health dimensions.
Numerous international awards and medals attest to the quality of these efforts. The Castell Miquel Bodega is located in a picturesque setting in one of the most beautiful regions of Mallorca. From its elevated position, it allows a view of the valley towards the rising sun. The legend states that once a farmer, an angel appeared to him and advised him to plant a vine here. The farmer followed his advice and the vines became the best on the island. In gratitude, the farmer placed a sculpture of the Madonna in a nearby cave. Until today, however, it remains a secret cave. References to the cave can be found in the original plans of the castle.
When the current owner, Professor Michael A. Popp, acquired the property, he set out to uncover the mystery. He re-cultivated the old lands from the Mallorcan farmers on the slopes blessed by the angel, naming the terraces "Stairways" (in English). In the case of the cave discovered, where to place his own barrels for the wine to mature, the name "Madonna Cave" was decided.

Bodegas Macià Batle:
Since 1856, Bodegas Macia Batle (located in Santa Maria - Binissalem Mallorca) wines have been born out of a passion, and now more than ever. A new generation of farmers and winemakers have guided its evolution, with the goal of creating modern wines of the highest quality using traditional Mallorcan grapes.
These exquisite wines have body and soul and are on the verge of being recognized at the highest international level, with 300 days of sunshine per year. The wine tradition on the island began with the arrival of the Romans in 123 BC and has been carefully nurtured to this day. The hundreds of hectares of autochthonous vineyards today attest to the excellence of Mallorcan winemakers. A
This number is continually increasing as more wines and wineries are directed towards the production of new wines under the Mallorcan Denomination of Origin. Almost all of them have their own varieties such as the Moll or Prensal for white wine and the Black Coat, Callet, and Fogoneu for red.
The most famous wine region corresponds to the DO Binissalem, which includes the towns of Binissalem, Consell, Santa Maria del Cami (where the Bodegas Macia Batle are located), Santa Eugenia, and Sencelles. This region has been producing high-quality native grapes for over five centuries, ensuring wines that are known for their good taste, deep color, and aroma.
This region is protected from the cold north winds by the Sierra de Tramuntana, which creates a benign microclimate. The Mediterranean climate is mild, with dry, long, hot summers, short winters, rainy springs, and light autumns. The land is rich in calcium, with shallow or slightly undulating preserved brown or brown calcareous soils. The terrain is gentle and the vineyards are located between 75 and 200 meters above sea level.
All of these factors make Mallorca a unique wine region whose wines offer all the particularities of the island's location, climate, varieties, and "terroir". A wine tasting experience not to be missed for any discerning palate.

Bodegas Can Majoral:
This winery is located in the town of Porreres and is known for its wines made from the local grape varieties Manto Negro, Callet, and Fogoneu. The winery offers tastings and tours, as well as a chance to purchase their wines.
History: Fueled by a passion for Mallorca, and specifically Campos, and a belief that high-quality wines could be produced in the region, we embarked on this project, a journey and a dream. At first, it was unclear if it was an experiment, a hobby, or a way to pass the time, but over time, this project has grown and evolved in all aspects, without ever losing sight of our primary goal: to cultivate, develop, and market unique and high-quality wines. We have a total of 17 hectares of vineyards with 14 different varieties, in two locations in the municipality of Algaida within the Pla, in the heart of Mallorca.
The Son Reus, located on the road to the village of Pina, near the great medieval estate, after the conquest, gave the name to this land and replaced the Butibalausí, the original name given to the Muslim homestead. The land is composed mainly of clay with abundant iron oxide, which gives it a reddish color, which we call red.
The Son Roig, in the small hamlet of the same name, is situated in an idyllic landscape, slightly undulating land surrounded by almond, carob, and fig trees. It is surrounded by the mountain Randa and Son Roig, the soil is limestone and clay, which makes it ideal for absorbing the adequate moisture. The cultivation of the vines is done in an ecological way, respecting agricultural cycles and not using fertilizers or synthetic chemicals. From pruning the vines to harvesting, we conduct a thorough survey of both the health of the plant and the quality of the grapes.

Bodegas Ribas :
The Ribas wineries, located in Consell on the island of Mallorca, have been producing wines for over 300 years. They consistently use a high percentage of the indigenous Mallorcan varieties, Mantonegro and Prensal, as part of their family legacy.
The Ribas wineries have also played a role in reviving other native grape varieties of the island, such as Gargollassa, which have been nearly extinct and were reintroduced earlier. The more than 40 hectares of vineyards are tended to by hand and hand-harvested, and feature the island's oldest plantation and the most diverse range of indigenous varieties.
Ribas is a trailblazer in Mallorca for grape selection in the vineyard and in the winery, ensuring the highest quality in its wines.
